sunday morning

as the sun streamed in the window on a early sunday morning sophie wondered exactly how she got where she was. where she was was asleep on the bathroom floor wrapped up in a towel with an imprint of tile on her forehead. at least she was in her house it had definitely been a rough saturday night. the night did start out fun just like every other saturday night in the last year or so had started. she picked up her best friend, liz, and went to the usual bar down the street. it was a great bar as far as bars go; dark, great jukebox, friendly bartenders, big bar with lots of stools to sit on, and strong drinks. unfortunately, sunday morning started out pretty much the same way as it had for the last year or so too, sophie curled up in a strange place with a throbbing headache wondering exactly what happened the night prior.

sure sophie remembered most of it, but it was usually around 1:00am where things got a little foggy and she could not really remember everything that had happened. liz wasn't much help either she was curled up on the couch still asleep and sophie knew she wouldn't be too much help in remembering exactly what happened the night before. sophie was happy that she was alone in the bathroom and not in bed with the same guy she always ended up with. he was a nice enough guy, good looking, but since their relationship revolved around a bunch or vodka tonics and beers and the only place they ever seemed to get together was the usual bar, it would be hard for sophie to imagine that this was an actual relationship.

Where to begin

Right so i am going to try to write a book and see where it takes me...it is something i have always dreamt of doing and have decided to take a cue from my brother and just go for it...i guess the worst that can happen is that i don't get anywhere with it and just abandon the whole idea. So now where to begin...i've always heard to write what you know so i guess that is where i will start...stay tuned.
